Every effort is taken by us to insure that your puppy is delivered in a safe & healthy manner. It would be great if you are able to come pick up your puppy yourself; however we do understand that in some cases Shipping is necessary. We try to make the process as easy as possible. First of all and foremost your puppy’s well-being is our Major concern!!!! If you are interested in shipping there are 3 ways to do it, 1st… fly freight with Delta It is 325.00 with Crate. Not all babies qualify for this freight flight. The flight for the puppy is all day long with a layover for maybe 2 to4 hrs. Also Freight is sometimes not released to be picked up till 2 hrs after the plane lands. I will explain freight in more detail at the end of this note. 2nd. way is, I have a wonderful lady named Becky who will fly with the puppy right next to her and she can hold the pup if it is scared and relieve a lot of stress. She makes sure the puppy has water and food and is clean. Also most of the time she can get a straight though flight and meet you at the airport with pup. This cuts down on the time the pup is traveling and make for a shorter day. She charges $50.00 more than freight. She is $375.00. This way of travel is great for our little puppies. Not all of the OLDER AND LARGER PUPS CAN NOT GET THIS SERVICE. The Airlines require they fly freight in larger crates. 3rd I have a driver named Joan who also is a great way to go. She also is with the puppy at all times and can hold the pup and relieve the stress. She will make sure the pup has water, food and is kept clean. She is there for all the puppy needs during the trip. She can meet you half way or whatever miles you need her to travel. She charges $1.00 per mile. Needs no create. All of the pups can travel this way. I have seen some charge $1.50 per mile. If Joan traveled 300 miles she is $300.00 and would save you some driving if you want to meet her part of the way. Explanation of how freight works: Flying the puppy freight with Delta or any airlines. They are left alone & scared all day and it is a very long day. There is no straight though flights for freight. When I fly a puppy I have to leave the house to go to the airport at 2;00AM with the puppy. I have to be checked in at the freight by 4:00AM. The puppy’s flight won't leave till 6:00AM and the pup is left alone some times in an undesirable temperature. (I don’t mean extreme Heat or cold) Then the pup has a layover for 2 to 4 hours in another State and again the pup is sitting alone somewhere unattended of its needs. Then when the pup gets to your air port the freight is ready for pick up sometimes 2 hours after the plane lands. And again the pup is sitting alone, possibly in a mess or no food and water or spilt water. That is a real long day and they cannot hold poopy, or if they get sick, and such that long. This puts the puppy under a lot of stress, and being only 2.8 lbs, 3.4 lbs, you may be asking for trouble, but if the puppy gets under doctors care ASAP. The puppy most likely will probably be alright because the baby is very healthy. The puppies have a Health Certificate and always have a Vet examination before flights. Freight is not as traumatic for a little older puppy or a little bigger puppy. Who can hold their bladder and don’t have such delicate tummy’s. Younger and little pups can get sick and dehydrated in a few hours, this flight is all day. The freight flight is $325.00 a little more in some states. The freight cost covers the Airfare, an airline approved crate, Travel containers for food and water, The Health Certificate along with the cost of a full Veterinarian examination, and also any additional Vaccinations required complying with Stare Regulations for shipping. The flight for the pup is all day long with a layover for maybe 3 hrs. Freight is sometime not available for pick up for 2 hours after the plane lands.
